Several times a week in July and August, embrace the energetic vibe and friendly atmosphere of our aquagym classes! Start your day with a gentle muscle-toning session in the water and feel the contagious energy of our coaches.

Prepare for sports galore at the Erreka campsite. Here, outdoor sports fans will be spoilt for choice. Between friendly tournaments on the boules pitch and fast-paced matches on the sports ground, every member of the family can enjoy a sense of total freedom on holiday.

After a day full of discoveries, it's time to soak up the festive atmosphere of the Sunêlia L’Erreka campsite. Bring the whole family to enjoy the campsite activities and entertainment. The programme includes poolside games at the end of the day, theme parties and concerts, all in a spirit of togetherness.
After dusk, the fun continues in Bidart with evening entertainment, like the colourful night market, Basque pelota tournaments, Basque dance performances and fireworks, not forgetting the local festivals held in the cities of Bayonne and Dax.

Take to the cycle paths to see the region’s iconic places dotted between the coast and the inland areas:
- La Rhune - Ascain | Along the trails that wind their way around this iconic mountain, you’ll gaze in awe at the unique panoramic view over the Basque coast, the Pyrenees and, on a clear day, the beaches in the distance.
- The Basque Corniche – from Hendaye to Saint-Jean-de-Luz | Enjoy a mix of physical exercise and quiet meditation during your adventure between the cliffs and the ocean. Suitable for families, the paths invite you to take a refreshing break or two in the beautiful coves.
- The Ibardin Pass | A must for seasoned mountain bikers, this itinerary is best tackled early in the morning to avoid the crowds. At the top, you can stop for a delicious meal at one of the Basque ventas.
- The Pignada trails – Anglet | The Pignada pine forest set right by the ocean invites you to explore along its shaded MTB trails, perfect for a family adventure. Take a picnic with you, to enjoy in the depths of the pine forest.
Get a feel for the Basque way of life
If you love dipping in the ocean waves, you won’t be disappointed! Located between Biarritz and Guéthary, Bidart on the Basque shores is ideal for a family holiday you’ll never forget. Just 800 metres from the ocean, watersports will become your day-to-day routine!
Out of the water, the coastline features some hiking trails that will take your breath away. The coastal path is flanked by majestic cliffs and stunning scenery, with the azure-blue ocean and authentic villages such as Ascain, all against the backdrop of the Pyrenean mountains lying just beyond the beautiful green hills.
Amid this spectacle of nature, don’t miss the chance to visit traditional Basque villages such as Mauléon, Sare, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Espelette.
