The leisure and recreation area can be found opposite the reception of this 4-star campsite, surrounded by the lush vegetation of Canet-en-Roussillon. This open-air hotel, where guests enjoy unrivalled peace and quiet, features a leisure area that offers all the activities that you would expect from a summer holiday basecamp. Come and dance, let off steam, laugh, swim and share quality time where you can forge lasting holiday memories.
The climbing wall! This 8m high wall, can accommodate 4 climbers simultaneously! The wall is open once a week in July and August to guests aged 6 and above. Here novices can discover the pleasures of climbing and experienced climbers can enjoy a wonderful vertical training ground. Equipment is provided and you’ll be supervised by an experienced instructor.

Time for team sports! Although, you may enjoy a fun game of indoor football during the rest of the year, our open-air hotel offers you the opportunity to compete outdoors. A distinctly sporting atmosphere prevails in Sunêlia Ma Prairie with its football and basketball competitions, games of table-tennis under the trees and boules matches held throughout the day. And there are jogging sessions suggested for those with sufficient lung capacity.
Pilates & yoga
Perhaps you prefer downward dogs and shoulder stands? If so, that’s perfect! Once a week, the campsite hosts outdoor yoga sessions. These sessions, which are open to beginners, aim to improve your mental well-being and promote physical relaxation. Make your way to the pool area where you can try out one of our Pilates classes, which are also held once a week. This practice helps strengthen your deep muscles, giving you a straight back and a regal bearing. Finally, some gentle muscle activation will do you the world of good, with lots of stretching under the Catalan sun.

Enjoy a holiday game of volleyball with friends. Sunêlia Ma Prairie Campsite has an open-access, multi-sports pitch. Football, basketball, volleyball, handball, mini-tennis, football-tennis, badminton etc. Stop, that’s enough! The competitive spirit is much in evidence next to the pool. The boules pitch enjoys pride of place so you don’t need to worry about losing the jack. Fitness fanatics will love the gym, close by. Here, you’ll find 3 elliptical cross trainers, an elliptical stepper, a weights bench, a rowing machine and treadmill for non-stop training.

The Pyrénées-Orientales are a paradise for cyclists. Mountainous terrain, coastlines, greenways and countryside, as far as the eye can see. You can hire cruiser bikes for family outings direct from Sunêlia Ma Prairie campsite and, a baby seat or child trailer if you want. Baby helmets and puncture kits are also available from the reception.
Let’s go for a ride! The campsite is next to a greenway, and 1.4 km from the EuroVélo 8 cycling route along the Mediterranean coast, so you can head for the beaches or explore the Perpignan region. There are four different circuits setting out from Canet-en-Roussillon, ranging from 7 to 14 km, leading through the village, vineyards and along the coast.
Worth noting: Sunêlia Ma Prairie 4-star campsite is also an Accueil Vélo (bike friendly) accredited partner. Which means touring cyclists are guaranteed a warm welcome with access to high-quality services.

Throughout the summer, this open-air hotel organizes themed evenings as well as starlit concerts, in the leisure and entertainment area. All generations are involved, getting together to enjoy a paella, sing some karaoke or enjoy a game of bingo. Children haven’t been forgotten with themed and dance evenings.
