Our facilities
Indoors or outdoors, you’ll be spoilt for choice! The Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite is proud to introduce... its gym. Enjoy free access to the fitness room, with exercise bikes, cross-trainers, treadmills and a training area. Did someone say “summer body”? This is the perfect place to hone it! Come and work up a sweat for an hour or so, before indulging in a long shower and – why not! – a trip to the campsite spa. A multi-purpose sports pitch and boules pitch complete the campsite’s sports facilities, which are free and open to all guests.

Want to get your active mode on? Football, basketball and table tennis tournaments, aquagym sessions to the rhythm of music or water polo: Throughout your holiday, you’ll have the chance to try out a whole range of sporting activities on the campsite. And if that’s not enough, why not drop by reception and ask the team for some ideas and recommendations for activities off site, in the beautiful Vendée countryside. Cycling, running, land sailing... From beaches to marshes, the Vendée is simply teeming with stunning spots.
Water sports
When you arrive at the beach, just 800 metres from the Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite, you’ll be amazed by the multitude of colourful canvases in the sky. Looks like fun? Then why not try your hand at kitesurfing, too? Or perhaps you’d prefer to have some family fun paddling boarding, on one big paddle board that fits everyone on? A number of water sports centres are on hand to assist you and help you discover the wonderful world of water sports. Young and old alike will have endless fun taking on the wind and the waves along the long beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Monts.
On the green
Nestled between pine forest and ocean, the Saint-Jean-de-Monts golf course is a renowned golfing spot. This 18-hole course boasts an exceptional topography, with natural obstacles and sandy subsoil, making it ideal for year-round play. While extremely popular with experienced golfers, everyone is welcome here, including anyone simply wishing to give golf a go. Beginners’ lessons, coaching sessions and introductory sessions all take place on a dedicated course or on the driving range.

The light may be fading, but the day is far from over! The Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite invites you to its restaurant terrace, the perfect place to kick off the evening. From the peace and quiet of your rental or pitch, it’s hard to imagine the lively ambiance that reigns on the dance floor. Whether Latino night or a disco night with a DJ, everyone – from the very youngest to the very... not-so-young – will be sure to be up and dancing to the hypnotic hits of David Guetta. Those who prefer to get their vocal chords dancing will love the campsite’s karaoke night. And because, as French humanist François Rabelais said, “to laugh is proper to man”, the campsite also organises ‘Taka tout est permis’ evenings – a fun interactive game for all ages!
