The shower and toilet block was very clean with plenty of showers. The laundry was easy to use without the need for tokens or coins. Great bikes which we hired. Friendly staff who were willing to help when needed.
The last week of the season when we stayed the shop did not stock milk or much fresh produce. The restaurant was closed for private functions on a couple of nights without prior notice.
beautiful location and clean site
the restaurant should have been kept open for the duration of the campsite being open. we had 3 nights out of our 7 without access to the restaurant area
Good location and nice site
No private functions
Proximity to a beautiful beach. Great facilities - the individual sanitary pods are a fabulous addition. Very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff
Better signage for the chemical toilet disposal area. Other campers were using the camper van discharge point! We had to clear poo away! Or alternatively a chemical toilet disposal unit near the discharge point would be a great investment.
Location and facilities
The pitch itself was ok but prefer a level hard standing
Brilliant location, staff very friendly, accomodation was very clean and well equipped
The situation with the restaurant being closed to guests was very disappointing. I know we received an email regarding closure dates but I missed this. We stayed for four days and didn't get to eat in the restaurant on any occasion which was not good.
Good sanitaires, nice pitch, quiet overnight
Unable to book restaurant either night - full (not a problem) first night but a private party the 2nd.
Lovely staff, very clean resort, great facilities, amazing location.
Our pitch had a large tree right in the middle and it made it very hard to back our motorhome into it.
Close to beach, close to town, close to cycle path, private washroom.
A little more space on the pitches, felt too tightly cramped together
The staff are exemplary and the location is excellent
Within the realms of practicality, nothing
English speaking at reception
Less contradicting information on opening times of facilities
Location nearness to the sea. Well situated to get around the island
Bar area seems rather impersonal
amazing site and location, great facilities
we would choose a cabin further from the laundry and shower block next time!
Camp pitches were well maintained, with food facilities, close proximity to the beach, well stocked ship, restaurant and take away service, bike rental ...
We had no water on our last morning, so whilst we paid for three days of a private bathroom cabin, we could only make use of it for two of those days ..... The campsite could have offered to refund the day we could not use the facility, noting it was a problem throughout the site ...
The location and proximity to the beach at Interlude is very convenient with children. The pool area is well kept and whilst busy we could usually find a lounger. The facilities are great and the activities on offer are varied and there’s something for everyone. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the exercise classes and we all loved the disco and the magician with the assistant. The staff make a great effort to entertain and Luca is very talented. The playground, bike rental and the convenience of Les Alizes and La Grillerade mean we had everything. The cabin itself was nicely laid out and had a good provision of kitchen equipment. The mini dishwasher, hob and full size fridge make it a more enjoyable stay. The mattresses are good also which is very important.
The WiFi!!! It’s terrible and it kept dropping for our entire stay. Fans in the bedroom - it can get very hot inside and it’s hard to ventilate. It’s not always practical to have windows open for privacy/ insects. More washing machines? Perhaps there is more but there are just 7 and in constant use.
Safe and friendly. Good quality accommodation and attractive site with lovely facilities. Superb beach access.
Restaurant is a bit limited. There seems to be less camping spots available which is a shame as more mobile homes makes the site feel more built-up
Fabulous location. Well designed accommmodation and campsite layout. Brilliant staff who all were so lovely to us.
Our accommodation was a little tired. We stayed in a Luxe Nature and some had ovens, others didn't. Initially we weren't given a Nespresso machine (although this was quickly rectified - with thanks). We thought some of the food at the restaurant wasn't a very high standard but then we also had one excellent meal so perhaps the chef was a little inconsistent. These are all tiny issues though!! We loved our holiday.
Lots of services available, friendly and helpful staff
Communal BBQs Pool Restaurant Take Away Shop
More sun beds around the pool Upgrades to the toilets in both the restaurant and the pool
Close to the beach
Quiet time is supposed to be from 11pm. This is NOT the case at this campsite, the noise of people out side their camp drinking and chatting till up to 3am in the morning was unbearable and no security to stop this happening
Beach access. Private shower/toilet block. Good size pitches
Bigger swimming pool required. Restaurant very expensive for not great quality
Excellent facilities, fantastic location close to the beach, really wonderful customer service. I have stayed at many French campsites over the years but the team here were exceptionally friendly and helpful - we felt so welcome and nothing we asked about was too much trouble. Chapeaux team Sunelia Interlude!!!
Our vila was a comfort option located behind the shop and restaurant. I am a light sleeper so was woken every morning between 5.30- 6.00am by the delivery lorry visiting the shop and the associated noises. I appreciate that this is a consequence of opting for a cheaper cabin but I think you should warn customers of the potential noise so early in the morning BEFORE they book
Great campsite in an excellent location. All staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers kept spotlessly clean at all times!!! Useful shop and a truly amazing restaurant which we loved.
Location in dunes, next to beach, near villages. Great well run site, with good amenities and helpful staff.
Better pool, more flexible booking options, availability of gas bbq / outdoor cooking for all cabins.
I have submitted before but realised I had forgotten something.
I forgot to say that there were a couple of things that could be improved. One of the twin beds was a camping bed and was very squeaky - to the point that my children argues about he noise going to bed and it woke me a few times through the night. It needs to be replaced with a normal bed. Also all the pots didn’t have lids which was frustrating as I really needed the corresponding lids when I was cooking some for eh meals. I think this would be very helpful.
The cabins are really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. Beds were very comfortable. Location by the sea is great. Washing machine/dryer facilities and good. Staff are lovely and super friendly and helpful. They made our stay much easier. Kids enjoyed the kids club and baby camp.
The swimming pool area needs an upgrade. The "baby" pool is too small for kids aged 5-8 and the big outdoor pool is too deep for them. A slide in the big pool would be nice. The quality of food in the restaurant is not good. The wine list in English would be nice to have. I found the lack of info on check in to be an issue. I was not told about the welcome meeting at 7pm. I found the welcome meeting quite unnecessary too. Surely the app could be upgraded to allow people to sign up for baby club and kid's camp via the app and not have to wait to sign up at this meeting. Plus the staff mainly speak in French at this meetings so the info given is mainly lost hy non-French speakers.
Excellent location Great facilities Friendly staff
Nothing
The only criticism was the indoor changing area by the pool. It really is poor. Other 5 stars sites have far better changing facilities. Also the 1030 checkout is very early, tents are barely dry at that time. By all means come inspect the private sanitary block but you should not be expected to leave your pitch so early. There should be the option to have the facilities that you are using should be clean, but you do not need to leave your pitch until midday
Later checkout for campers 1030 is too early and the tents are not dry. Much better changing facilities by the pool.
Cabins were clean and tidy, great shower, easy to cook, comfortable beds
The bed sheets and pillow cases were not very good.
We've been coming for the last 10 years and know what to expect. We love our Sunelia Luxe on L block, the proximity to the beach and the freedom the kids have.
We were disappointed that two of the shared BBQs had been removed this year, it would have been good to know this before we came so we could have bought a BBQ with us.
Excellent and friendly staff. Great entertainment. Excellent and well stocked shop.
None
clean, quiet at night, organised, great facilities
no obvious thoughts it is really well run
Nice accommodation, quiet, decent amount of space. Clean. Nice amount of entertainment. Good restaurant and shop. Bike hire reasonable
Our hob and oven were both faulty which although eventually sorted out I felt should have been checked before we arrived considering the cost of the holiday. Larger pool area with more sun beds would have been ideal. Perhaps more exercise classes spread further through the day.
Location is perfect by the sea
The swimming pool area.
