A water sports paradise
There are two reasons why water sports fans will fall in love with Sardinia. The first is the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and the second is the choice on offer to live their passion. The campsite has direct access to eight free-admission beaches, as well as a scuba diving centre and sailing centre.
You can set sail, explore the marine world with a snorkel, or learn to scuba dive.
Holidaymakers love: Experience a magical day with a boat excursion to the Maddalena archipelago. Discover white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Paradise on Earth.

Bike tours: Freedom to explore the coast at your own pace.
Do you love cycle tours? Rent a bike at your campsite reception area and set off to explore the Cannigione landscapes. A 3km cycle trail starts at the harbour and winds along the seashore, pine forest and town. With the wind in your hair, pedal to La Conia, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, go all the way to Palau.
Along the way, admire the stunning views of the Gulf of Salins and the famous Capo d'Orso, with its bear-shaped rock overlooking the coast.
Holidaymakers love: Take this opportunity to explore the town of Cannigione. Treat yourself to an ice-cream while you stroll along the Andrea Doria promenade. Then visit San Giovanni Battista church and the archaeological site on the outskirts of the town.

Cultural excursions in Sardinia
How about a short history lesson? Not the boring kind, but the one that exists outside of books and libraries. Retrace the ancient civilisations that lived on these lands long before us. Sardinia offers another way to immerse yourself in history.
The area around Cannigione is brimming with treasures for you to visit:
- Li Muri necropolis, dating from the 4th century BC: A remarkable example of Sardinian Megalithic Art. The site is home to four tombs in a circular formation and a burial tunnel.
- The Malchittu nuraghe complex: A Nuragic Age site showcasing the architecture and culture of this ancient civilisation.
- Albucciu nuraghe: This site is home to artefacts including votive swords, bronze items and a ceremonial figurine.
- The Giants’ Grave: A Nuragic Age funerary monument composed of monoliths anchored in the ground.
Did you know? The Nuragic Age refers to a protohistoric civilisation which emerged in Sardinia during the first Bronze Age, in around the 18th century BC. These people reigned over the Italian island for 1000 years.
