During your stay in the Tropics, our campsite at Torreilles Plage, the main attraction will of course be the beach! It is a vast area of 4km of nature and calm divided into three sectors: the northern beach, the central beach and the southern beach. On the northern beach you can admire the remains of the Second World War: a line of blockhouses. This part of the beach extends to the coastal river of Agly. In high season, straw huts are scattered on the beach and allow you to eat. The central part is of course the main beach of Torreilles, which is located in the heart of the "river fields", a natural area protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral. A large number of sporting activities are offered in high season by the tourist office (soccer and beach volleyball tournaments are organised). Finally, the southern part of Torreilles Plage is a natural and wide area, it is reserved for people who practice naturism. In terms of water activities, you will find water slides at Frenzy Palace Water Jump Torreilles and jet ski rides with Jet Ski Circuit on the menu, as well as the Parroude Water Sports Centre. But in Torreilles there is of course not only the sea, many other activities are offered. We think in particular of Torreilles Karting, Paintball Factory Torreilles, Parc à Tyroliennes by AcroVertige, Ferme aux Grandes Oreilles, Iguana House, horse rides at Le Ptit Far West, L'Ile aux enfants leisure park, and of course the village market which is held all year round on Tuesday and Friday mornings. You can also go to the local farmers' market on Wednesday morning to find all the fruits and vegetables produced in the vicinity of the village. Finally, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evening you can go to the night market and enjoy its special atmosphere, the market is only organised during the months of July and August.
